Nehemiah Porter died in 1784 aged 92. He was by trade a weaver, and the home of the family was at "The Hamlet" now Hamilton Massachusetts. We see here wence came the name Hezediah, which has since been perpetual in one branch of the Porter family of Yarmouth.
