William Henry Russell Goudey was a master plumber having received training at MIT,
and retired about 1950. The storefront with his name in gold was still very vibrant on Washington Street,
(Brookline, MA) in 1980. It is no longer there in the 90's. He was an active member and Deacon of the
Brookline Baptist Church and was also an active Mason. He was also President of the Brookline chapter of the KIWINIS.
He passed on his love of nature and skill with his hands to his progenitors. He loved fixing up and modernizing his
retirement house in Norwell, MA and always was figuring out ways to keep the squirrels from stealing his wildbird food.
He knew just about every avary species in New England.
