William Porter lived at Danvers and afterward at Woburn. He was living in 1750, but died before 1755. In 1750 he sold to Robert Hooper, of Marblehead for 1843 pounds, his farm of 246 acres, "beginning at S.W. angle of highway leading through Royal Side, and near Frost Fish Brook."
