3Notes, of Joyce (Hudd) Lehmann, .
Source Media Type: Other.
"Approximate Birth date is based on Ann's possible ages, at birth of last child (daughter # 6, born 1812) when Ann could have been as old as 45; and at birth of first child (Helen, born 1791) when Ann could have been as young as 18.

Ann's parents are probable, not proved. There are no other "George" children being christened at the time in Wigtownshire, and Ann's likely birth dates fit into the gap between Jean 1758 and John 1770. Also, Ann and William McCormick's first daughter Helen (Elenora at christening) would have been named after Ann's mother, Helen (Elleanor at christening) Milroy. And, their second son John would have been named after Ann's father, John George. Thus the names of their children fit the tradional Scots naming pattern."
