Edward Goudey was working for Bell Electric Company in New York in about 1900 when he met Georgina Gibson who was working as a private secretary. They had an affair and when his wife Valzora found out about it she divorced him. Edward then married Georgina August 30, 1900 and they went on a tour of Nova Scotia on their honeymoon. They visited the house his father had built in Tusket, Nova Scotia as well as his grandfather's house in Tusket, Nova Scotia. Edward E Goudey made a trip to New Zealand and returned to the port of San Francisco May 14, 1923 on the R M S Tahiti. The ship left Wellington New Zealand on April 25, 1823 for the trip (From the San Francisco Passenger Lists, Microfilm Roll Number: 171, Page: 102). On the passenger list he lists his home address as Portland Oregon. By December 1927 he is living in San Francisco and Married to Mary Helen McDonald when they take a trip to Hawaii which I suspect was their honeymoon trip. |
