| 1. | George Goudey III | Marblehead, Mass. Bap. August 31,1760 |

|
This is probably the George Goudey who served in Col. Williams regiment in 1758 for 5 mo. and 18 days plus 24 days Travel. The record states that George Goudey served from May 8, 1758 to October 12, 1758 in the Expeditions against Canada. His Discharge was endorsed September 19, 1858. These records appear on a report dated February 12, 1759. This George Goudey was married 14 months after the final service date, and his first child was born 8 months later. |

The first (and only?) child was baptized in the 2nd Congregational (Unitarian) Church. MM Goudey's book indicates (P. 436) that George Goudey II had sons & daughters but to my knowledge a record has been found for only one son. |

Mrs. Hannah Goudey filed intention to marry Hugh Hill March 13, 1766. This indicates that she was a widow at that time. |
