NOTE: I suspect this Robert Lawrence was not in Marblehead much before 1685. I have not been able to find any New England reference to him before the birth of his son Richard. While there are other Lawrences in New England before 1685 none of them seem to connect to him. There is another Lawrence (Richard Lawrence: Wife Miriam) appearing in Marblehead and having children from 1709 which could possibly be his brother, but I have no direct evidece of this relationship. It seems likely that Robert Lawrence immigrated to New England not long before 1685 with his wife and children.

I suspect this Robert Lawrence was not in Marblehead much before 1685. I have not been able to find any New England reference to him before the birth of his son Richard. While there are other Lawrences in New England before 1685 none of them seem to connect to him.
